Gen Kai is an under appreciated gem in hour city. Sweet, decent human beings on their staff and one of a very few places doing authentic Japanese cuisine. Love this place. Itadakimasu!!

Ready on time and delicious, and the miso soup was still hot, very nice for warming up at the bus stop! Enough sauce to be delicious without leaking from the container, too. Thank you so much!

This dish is probably my new favorite food, the price is decent and it was ready when I got there! I plan to keep coming back, I'm so glad I found this restaurant!

Very good food, as always. We served at Art & Cultural Event, Aki Matsuri. All enjoyed the food with Japanese beer & sake.
